EP-104 PORTUGAL: Walking the length of Portugal from South to North

Is there a trip you've dreamt of doing for a long time?  This week we talk with Tomás Corôa, who since boyhood dreamt of getting outside and exploring his home country of Portugal.

A break in jobs meant he had 2 months free, and while having no experience in long-distance walking, he decided to walk the length of Portugal, from Sagres in the South to Caminha in the North.

This is not a signed route, and Tomás had to experiment to find the route some days, while other days he could follow more established routes like the Camino Portugués.

Pakistan is emerging as an adventure destination, and for good reason. We also hear from Daniel James about how to combine your adventure summiting Kili with a safari or beach holiday.

The GR92 is a very pretty walk that follows the Spanish coast through Catalonia.  We also learn a bit about Italy's wonderful Via Francigena.

Wow, who could believe that 2 years ago this podcast would hit 100 episodes and so many incredible conversations with people living authentic lives focused on the outdoors, adventure, and travel.

Karin is back from Peru and Oregon, and this episode we talk about what we've learnt from our guests, and share what we're looking forward to in 2023.
