On today’s episode we speak with Melanie Radzicki- McManus, an intrepid adventurer who shares her insight into one of the Camino’s lesser-travelled trails, the beautiful Via de la Plata, which covers 800km crossing the west of Spain from north to the south. The Malerweg, also known as “The Painter’s Way” is a fairly easy-going 112km hike in east Germany’s Elbe Valley, and is most well-known for being the inspiration behind several Romantic painter’s naturalist landscape paintings. On this episode we speak to Alexandra Koken, who shares with us her 8-day experience hiking the trail and what makes it one of her favourite treks to this day.
