Learn all about their spontaneous cross country cycle touring experience, what gear is needed and what to expect when taking on such a demanding venture. The Malerweg, also known as “The Painter’s Way” is a fairly easy-going 112km hike in east Germany’s Elbe Valley, and is most well-known for being the inspiration behind several Romantic painter’s naturalist landscape paintings.
